Monrovia – Bea Mountain FC has intensified its pursuit of a historic first Liberia Football Association (LFA) First Division League title, launching an aggressive recruitment drive to secure some of the country’s most promising young talents ahead of the 2026/2027 football season.

After finishing as runners-up last season, the Kinjor-based “Gold Boys” appear determined to go one step further.
The club is currently strengthening key areas of its squad while parting ways with several senior players in a major rebuilding effort designed to sustain a serious title challenge.
The latest player to arrive at the club is right-back Brandon Yaya Debah, who joins from LPRC Oilers FC on a three-year contract running through 2029.
In an official statement announcing the signing, Bea Mountain management noted that Debah’s arrival will bolster the team’s defensive options as the club prepares for another highly competitive campaign.
The club also completed the signing of midfielder Josiah Cea from FC Fassell on a four-year permanent deal. Cea, widely regarded as one of the league’s most talented midfield operators, is expected to add creativity, energy, and tactical experience to Bea Mountain’s engine room as the club seeks to solidify its championship credentials.
Another significant defensive addition is midfielder Cassius Pewee, who arrives from Discoveries FC on a four-year contract. The highly rated youngster is viewed as one of Liberia’s bright emerging prospects and is expected to provide stability and depth in the midfield anchor role.
The trio joins a growing list of high-profile recruits already secured by the club during the ongoing transfer window.
Last month, Bea Mountain landed one of the most coveted assets in Liberian football by signing First Division top scorer Darius Garmondeh a move widely seen across the local sports fraternity as a major statement of intent from a club eager to improve on last season’s near-miss.
The club also secured the services of promising central defender Moses Kamara from the Ansu Football Academy on a four-year deal. Kamara spent last season on loan with Gardnersville FC, where his consistent performances established him as one of the country’s most exciting young defensive talents.
In another notable offensive acquisition, Bea Mountain completed the signing of winger Adolphos Blayee from Paynesville FC, further expanding its attacking options ahead of the preseason.
However, the club’s aggressive recruitment strategy has been paired with a clearing of the decks, as management aggressively reshapes the roster. Goalkeeper Juanito Sayeh, winger Abel Musa, midfielder Emmanuel Nimely, and Sierra Leonean forward Mohamed Kanu have all been released from the club as part of the ongoing overhaul.
