In a statement issued Tuesday, the FC Fassell president struck a measured but resolute tone, commending the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) for its intervention as tensions continue to mount within the Liberian football community.
“I extend sincere appreciation to the Honorable Minister of Youth & Sports and her team for the time, attention, and leadership demonstrated,” Kuoh said, describing the Ministry’s engagement as “reassuring” and reflective of a commitment to fairness and transparency.
Trust in the Process Amidst Dispute
Kuoh’s comments come against the backdrop of a deepening dispute over eligibility that has stalled the LFA electoral process.
Stakeholders remain sharply divided over the interpretation and enforcement of the association’s statutes regarding prior criminal convictions.
While critics, including former CPAL president Christian Weah, have raised concerns about potential political interference and “illegal compromises,” Kuoh signaled his trust in the mediation, emphasizing that his pursuit of the LFA presidency remains grounded in legality.
“We have taken this path in good faith and in full respect of the law,” he stated. “We are confident in the process, and we remain optimistic that justice will prevail.”

The FC Fassell boss also used the opportunity to rally his base, assuring supporters that his team remains steadfast despite the legal cloud hanging over the April 18 elections.
In a bold assertion, Kuoh expressed his belief that he will ultimately appear on the ballot and emerge victorious.
“To all stakeholders, my supporters, and the many fans who continue to stand with me, we remain firm, focused, and resolute,” he said. “I firmly believe that we will be on the ballot, and with your continued support, we will emerge victorious.”
