The “Gold Boys,” who finished as runners-up in the league standings, have embarked on an ambitious recruitment drive , by securing the signatures of several of Liberia’s brightest young talents while simultaneously trimming their roster, the club has made a definitive statement of intent for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

Landing the Golden Boot

Leading the club’s high-profile transfer business is the  acquisition of reigning LFA First Division top scorer, Darius Garmondeh.

The lethal forward has committed his long-term future to the club, signing a four-year contract that runs until 2030.

Garmondeh arrives at Bea Mountain following a standout campaign that established him as one of the most clinical strikers in the country.

He officially joins from Caldwell United, following a highly successful loan spell with Watanga FC that had several top-tier clubs chasing his signature.

Known for his blistering pace, intelligent off-the-ball movement, and clinical finishing, the young forward is expected to spearhead Bea Mountain’s front line as they look to dethrone the current champions.

The signing is already being hailed as one of the biggest blockbusters of the current transfer window, reflecting the board’s willingness to spend heavily on proven quality.

Rebuilding from the Back

However, Bea Mountain’s off-season restructuring extends far beyond their attacking department.

The club has also secured the services of highly-rated central defender Moses Kamara on a four-year deal from Ansu Football Academy.

Kamara spent last season on loan with Gardnersville FC in the First Division and has emerged as one of Liberia’s most promising defensive prospects. Club officials are confident his aerial dominance and composure will solidify a backline capable of competing on multiple fronts.

In another significant scoop, Bea Mountain completed the signing of young winger Adolphos Blayee from Paynesville FC.

The talented wide player has also penned a four-year contract, adding much-needed creativity, flair, and width to the Gold Boys’ tactical setup.

The arrivals of Kamara and Blayee heavily underscore the club’s dual strategy

investing heavily in young players with high potential while maintaining immediate competitiveness at the highest level of Liberian football.

Room for Renewal

As the new faces arrive at the club’s camp, several familiar names have been deemed surplus to requirements and shown the exit door.

Bea Mountain management confirmed the departures of  goalkeeper Juanito Sayeh, winger Abel Musa,  midfielder Emmanuel Nimely, and Sierra Leonian striker Mohamed Kanu.

In separate administrative statements, the club praised the quartet for their professionalism, dedication, and service during their tenures, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The mass departure is a calculated move by the technical staff to free up the wage bill and create immediate space within the squad for the incoming recruits as the head coach finalizes pre-season preparations.

After a heartbreaking second-place finish in the 2025/2026 campaign, the club’s aggressive transfer activity has re-energized the fans in Grand Cape Mount County and Monrovia alike.

By pairing the league’s top marksman with elite defensive prospects, Bea Mountain looks primed to turn their regular bridesmaid status into a championship trophy.

The upcoming season will prove whether these heavy investments can translate into silverware, but for now, the message out of the Gold Boys’ camp is unmistakable second place is no longer enough.
