GBARNGA, Bong County – The Manager of the Bong County Branch of the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI), Abraham D. Flomo, has expressed profound gratitude after receiving the Special Father of the Year honor from Dominion Church, describing the recognition as one of the most meaningful achievements of his personal life.

The recognition was presented during a special church program dedicated to celebrating fathers whose commitment to family, professional excellence, and community service has made a positive impact on society.
Following the ceremony, Flomo thanked the leadership and congregation of Dominion Church for what he described as a distinguished honor. He said the recognition would remain a treasured milestone and pledged to continue serving his family, community, and the nation with integrity and dedication.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to have been recognized as Special Father of the Year by Dominion Church. This distinguished recognition is one that I will cherish for the rest of my life,” Flomo said.
He also expressed appreciation to the pastors, elders, and organizers of the church for recognizing the important role fathers play in shaping families and communities. According to him, the award serves as an inspiration to continue demonstrating responsible leadership and maintaining the values that have guided both his personal and professional life.
“I sincerely thank the pastors, elders, and leadership of Dominion Church for their vision in celebrating fathers and for considering me worthy of this prestigious recognition. Your encouragement inspires me to continue serving my family, community, and society with dedication and integrity,” he stated.
The banker further paid tribute to his wife, Mrs. Marline T. D. Flomo, and their children, Elizabeth D. Flomo, Abraham D. Flomo Jr., and Janet Flomo, whom he credited for providing unwavering love, encouragement, and support throughout the years. He described his family as the foundation of his strength and success.
Flomo equally acknowledged the support of his colleagues at LBDI, including Mr. Lyndon J. Togbah, Mr. Henry T. Togbah, friends, and well-wishers whose presence and encouragement contributed to the success of the celebration. He noted that their solidarity reflected the importance of building lasting relationships grounded in mutual respect and shared values.

The LBDI manager also congratulated his fellow honorees, including Father of the Year recipient Mr. Darlinton Davis and family, Elder Morgan A. David and family, and Mr. Emmanuel Mulbah and family.
