The high-profile session, chaired by LFA President Mustapha I. Raji, put an end to days of intense speculation within local football circles regarding a potential shakeup at the highest levels of the football governing body.
Before Wednesday’s meeting, widespread reports and intense rumors suggested that President Raji was considering major changes to the executive structure, particularly concerning the vice-presidency slots.
However, following extensive internal consultations and deliberations, Raji opted to prioritize institutional stability.
He officially reappointed Sekou W. Konneh as First Vice President and Saye-Taayor Adolphus Dolo as Second Vice President, the same leadership duo that served alongside him during his previous tenure.
Mrs. Jodie M. Reid-Seton was also confirmed in her role as Third Vice President.
Local football stakeholders have widely viewed the decision as a strategic masterstroke aimed at ensuring continuity as the new administration begins its four-year cycle.
